Determine the part of the garden post that is going to be under the ground and add a couple of extra centimetres. This is the part that has to be treated.
Sand the part of the surface to be treated with a scouring pad or sandpaper. Ensure the surface is dry and free of dust and grease.
Allow the treated posts to completely dry. Rubber Seal is dust-free dry after approximately 3 hours. After 48 hours, it is fully cured, depending on the amount applied and ambient circumstances.
Place the posts in the ground so that the top of the treated section remains a few centimetres above ground level.
