MAKING SKYLIGHTS WATERTIGHT
There’s nothing as annoying as a leak coming from the roof. Therefore, ensure that the elements on the roof are all watertight. Such as skylights.

Remove leaves and other accumulated dirt with a brush.
Cut the Textile Tape for all the seams around the skylight to length.
Always add a couple of centimetres extra.
Now make sure that the surface is dry, clean and free of dust and grease.
Place the Rubber Seal Textile Tape directly on top of the first layer.
Press down firmly on the Textile Tape until it is saturated.
Textile Tape bridges over cracks, splits and seams and makes layering easy.
Now apply the second layer until you have a smooth finish.
Rubber Seal provides the best protection with a minimum layer thickness of 2 mm.
After finishing off the horizontal seams with Rubber Seal, do the vertical ones as well.
Ensure that the Textile Tape overlaps.
Apply the areas between the seams with one layer of Rubber Seal.
Rubber Seal is dry to the touch after about 3 hours and completely cured after 48 hours.
Tip: Any Rubber Seal excess should be removed from your hands with Bison Scrub Wipes.
