Shopping list
- 1 tube Bison Max Repair
- 3 or 4 saucers and/or plates (various sizes and shapes)
- 3 or 4 glasses and/or cups (various sizes and shapes)
Tip: Jumble sales offer all kinds of old porcelain and glassware. You can fill a box with it for just a couple of euros. This allows you to make your own designs or find inspiration for your own Bison display shelf. Choose different or matching colours for a great result.
Step-by-step plan
Step 1
Sort out the plates and glasses you want for making your Bison display shelf.
Ensure everything is clean. Now place them together ‘dry’ (without adhesive). This is how you create your first proper composition. Note that you are working in the centre of the plates.
Tip: ensure that the plates, cups and glasses are dry. Glass in particular can allow condensation depending on the weather. This doesn’t look so good. Apart from that it is better to glue dry products.
Step 2
Take your composition to bits again and then put them in the proper sequence. Read the instructions for Bison Max Repair
on the packaging. Start at the bottom of the decorative shelf. If the first item is a cup or a glass, put it upside down and apply Bison Max Repair to the original glass or cup bottom. Once the first item is on board, apply the adhesive to the cup or glass that goes on top.
Step 3
Now put the first and second items on top of each other and press down firmly. N.B.: always work from the centre.
Step 4
Now apply adhesive to the edge of the next cup or glass. Thus, onto the original drinking side of the item. Glue this upside down onto the centre of the bottom plate. If your first layer is a plate with a cup on it, then of course you apply the adhesive to the foot of the original item. Don’t forget about the centres!
Step 5
Work layer by layer as described above. Always check whether you have placed the cups or glasses at the centre of the plates.
Step 6
After the stated drying time, your Bison decorative shelf is ready for use! Decorate it with some nice treats and... Enjoy!
