MAKING JOINTS WATERTIGHT
Leaks in your bathroom can be easily prevented by treating the joints between the walls and the floor with a waterproof coating. After doing this you can continue decorating.

Determine how far up you want to seal and mark it on the wall. Use the shower head as a reference point.
Place the Textile Tape over the joint allowing it to protrude above the point you have marked out.
Ensure that the bottom of the Textile Tape is placed a few centimetres over the floor so it can be overlapped.
Now trim off the Textile Tape.
Ensure the surface is dry and free of dust and grease.
Press down firmly on the Textile Tape until it is saturated.
Textile Tape bridges over cracks, splits and seams and makes layering easy.
Now apply the second layer until you have a smooth finish.
Rubber Seal provides the best protection with a minimum layer thickness of 2 mm.
Repeat this process on all the joints in the bathroom.
Treat the horizontal joints first, and then the vertical ones.
Finish off all the seams with a second layer of Rubber Seal.
After doing the joints and seams, treat the rest of the walls and the floor with one layer of Rubber Seal.
Rubber Seal is dry to the touch after about 3 hours and completely cured after 48 hours.
Any Rubber Seal excess should be removed from your hands with Bison Scrub Wipes.
